Measure. Explain. Fix — with your approval.
One scan turns a vague worry ("are we invisible online?") into a ranked list you can act on: where you show up, which competitors beat you, why, and what to change first.
The four steps
Free scan
You give us your website — and, for local visibility, your business name, category, and city. SEOGuru crawls your site's pages and asks real customer-style questions of Google search, Google Maps, and AI assistants. Your business name is never inserted into a question (that would just make the answer repeat it).
Ranked diagnosis
You get a visibility score per measured channel — Google, Maps, AI, and your own website — plus one overall figure. Each gap is ranked with the evidence behind it and a plain-English explanation of why it matters, ordered by impact.
You approve the fixes
Every fix is a proposal: what to change, which pages, and how to verify it worked. SEOGuru never publishes anything automatically. A rejected fix never reaches a publish step.
Track movement
Re-scan whenever you like. SEOGuru compares against your stored baseline and shows what improved, what worsened, and which gaps closed or appeared.
What to expect — honestly
- Your own website is immediate signal. On-page and structural problems are found in the first scan and are yours to fix.
- External presence takes time. A brand-new domain reads near zero in Google, Maps, and AI answers for weeks to months. That's normal for any new site — expected, not a bug.
- Competitive comparison works from day one. We can compare crawl-able health against a competitor's site immediately; external visibility will show you "behind" for months on a new domain. Both results are honest.
- "Not measured" is a real label. If a channel can't be measured in a scan, we say so and skip it — we never fill the gap with a guess.
What does "not measured" mean?
SEOGuru checks whatever data is available in a scan. Sometimes a channel simply can't be measured:
- Maps is only relevant to businesses with a physical address — software and online-only businesses get an honest "not applicable".
- AI / Google checks need a working provider connection. If one is unavailable during your scan, that channel is marked "not measured" rather than scored as zero.
- A missing score is never counted against you — the overall figure is calculated over the channels that were actually measured.
